Everything old is new again in Hollywood.
Cate Blanchett has been added to the cast of Ridley Scott’s remake of “Robin Hood”. She’ll be Maid Marian opposite Russell Crowe’s Robin. Variety is describing it as a “Gladiator” version of the story. I love the idea of Crowe and Blanchett on screen together but how many “Robin Hood” movies does the world need?
In other news, Jim Carrey and Jake Gyllenhaal have been attached to New Line’s remake/update of “Damn Yankees”. As you probably could have guessed, Carrey will be the devil and Gyllenhaal will be Joe Boyd. This casting actually has potential – as long as Gyllenhaal can sing and Carrey can dial down his Carrey-ness a bit. The movie has a ways to go before it becomes a reality. The script hasn’t been written yet and no one has been hired to direct or to play Lola.

“Entertainment Tonight” posted a new behind the scenes clip for “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” which is set to premiere on July 17th. I feel like we’ve been waiting forever for this movie …. ’cause we have!

Part two of week 8 began with Sione informing us that the group was headed to the “prison yard” to meet with host Alison Sweeney. Prison yard? It must have been a bad day when it got that nickname. Ali was there with Liz Vaccariello, Editor-in-Chief of Prevention Magazine. They were surrounded by posters of the magazine’s covers including one featuring last season’s winner, Michelle Aguilar, and her mom Renee. They were gathered for a pop quiz on health and aging. The first team to get 3 answers correct would win a trip for 2 (for each team member) to the Casa Monica in St. Augustine, Florida for a fountain of youth vacation.
The first question was presented to Helen (Blue) and Mandi (Black) – True or False? Switching from regular cola to diet cola will help you live longer. Both ladies said false with Mandi adding that trainer Jillian Michaels had drilled it into her that diet soda is not good for you. The answer was false with Liz adding that both regular and diet sodas can double one’s risk of metabolic syndrome which includes high blood pressure, insulin resistance and belly fat.
Next up were Sione (Black) & Cathy (Blue) – Which changes in your diet is believed to help you live longer? A) Cutting fat or B) Cutting calories. Hey! I know this one! They didn’t say which kind of fat and we need the good ones. Plus, Liz Vaccariello wrote the Flat Belly Diet book which is all about making sure one includes a MUFA (monounsaturated fat) at each meal. Cathy said A and Sione said B. Sure enough, it was B and Liz got her plug in for MUFAs. The Black Team was up 2 to 1.
Next were Filipe (Black) and Dane (Blue) – Which exercise is believed to help you live longer? A) Doing push-ups regularly or B) Doing squats regularly. I’ll admit, I would have been wrong on this one. Filipe said B and Dane said A. The correct answer was B. Now, I would have said A because push-ups on your toes work your core in addition to your arms but Liz said improving lower body strength builds flexibility, balance and endurance. All of which will help to avoid falls in later life that can break a hip.
Black won and we wasted no time going to -
Product Placement Alert One: Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers. Mandi, Ron and Aubrey were gathered for lunch when trainer Bob Harper walked in and found Mandi eating just chicken and brown rice. He, of course, wanted her to add some veggies.
Filipe was getting more comfortable with Jillian as his trainer, even though he still missed Bob. Filipe said that both trainers knew the limits of what he could do better than he did.
After being a mess over the change in teams, Bob seemed to be fully back to his old self for the last chance workout. Mandi commented that she liked getting a different style of workout from Bob. In general, everyone seemed to have adjusted.
Weigh In
Heading into the weigh in, Bob was anxious. He said, “This is the first weigh in as Black and Blue and the Black Team is walking in with a 3 pound advantage. That Black Team is strong because I trained most of them and I made them that strong. So, it’s gonna be a tough weigh in.”
The rules went back to the more traditional; the team with the lowest percent of weight loss would have to vote to eliminate one member. The person on the losing team with the highest percent lost would have immunity.
Blue - Dane lost 13 pounds. He has lost 100 pounds in 8 weeks which is the fastest anyone in BL history has lost that amount.
Aubrey lost 5 pounds.
Mandi lost 7 pounds.
Ron lost 5 pounds. His son Mike said he was heartbroken because his dad really does try.
Kristin lost 10 pounds. She was thrilled. Kristin said that she used to be the person sitting on the couch watching the show and wishing she could transform her life. She wanted everyone to know they could do it. They just had to recognize that the ability is already inside them.
Cathy lost 14 pounds and certainly redeemed herself from the previous week’s one pound loss.
Blue lost 54 pounds for a total of 3.26%.
Black - They began with the 3 pound advantage they won in the bicycle challenge.
Helen lost 7 pounds. She was excited to be below 200 pounds for the first time in 8 years.
Laura lost 8 pounds.
Tara lost 11 pounds. She really is amazing. She has lost 83 pounds in eight weeks!
Mike lost 10 pounds. His dad Ron lit up seeing that number.
Filipe lost 8 pounds. That meant Sione only needed to lose 4 pounds for Black to win. In a very anti-climatic moment, we found out that Sione lost 10 pounds. Black lost 57 pounds for a total of 3.65%. They would have won even without the 3 pound advantage.
Blue was headed to the elimination room. As the member of the Blue Team with the highest percentage lost, Cathy was immune. Back at the house, Ron made his pitch to stay by pointing out that Dane already had great success and had a support system back home from his former teammate and cousin, Blaine. Dane countered that it was time to play the game and the Blue Team couldn’t afford to lose his weekly weight loss. In an interview Dane said flat out that he thought Ron’s wish for him to go home was a game play decision to benefit his son. Mandi broke down in tears saying she couldn’t vote for Dane. Aubrey, also crying, said she couldn’t decide at all. Going into the vote, a tearful Dane said that he was being damned for being successful.
Aubrey began the vote by saying she didn’t think she had the right to decide who to send home. She voted for Kristin which was tantamount to throwing her vote away because she knew no one else would choose Kristin. Dane voted for Ron. Mandi voted for Ron. Ron, of course, voted for Dane. Then, both Cathy and Kristin stayed loyal to the original Bob Team and voted off Dane. Oh, Blue. I understand why they did it, and it was a choice dictated by their hearts, but I think they just doomed the Blue Team. Black has Sione, Filipe, Mike and Tara. The only Blue Team member who could compete with those 4, week in and week out, was Dane. It was sweet … but it was a mistake.
The “where they are now” clip of Dane did show that everyone was correct about his support system and his ability to continue at home. He trained with his wife for a marathon (yes, a real one) and we watched as they crossed the finish line together. The graphic said Dane ran the 26 miles in 3 hours and 53 minutes BUT it did not show us how much he’s lost so far. Having started at over 400 pounds, Dane is definitely a contender for the at-home prize.
Next Week: Mike does something nice for Aubrey and Jillian does “by far the meanest thing I’ve ever done” to Laura.

Jewel gets the unenviable title as the first person to suffer an injury in the season 8 cast of “Dancing with the Stars”. Earlier today on her blog, Jewel reported that she has been diagnosed with tendonitis in her knees and is taking medications to try and control the swelling. She added, “I’m just worried I won’t even be able to dance! Hopefully these steroids will really do the trick and I can keep bad flare ups at a [sic] bay in the future.”
Later she issued the following official statement:
“Yes it is true, I’ve had a minor setback in my training for Dancing with the Stars. But I am dedicated to getting better and showing the judges and America that I can cha-cha with the best of them. Don’t count me out as I am in this for the long run.”

Poor Bob. He is having a tough time this season. Earlier, with Joelle, he was angry. This time around he was in tears because they broke his heart.
The episode opened with Helen questioning whether she should have agreed with her daughter Shanon being sent home after they fell below the yellow line. She said pushing forward would be difficult but she knew she could do it with the help of her trainer, Bob Harper.
Pop Challenge
The pop challenge this week was called “Black & Blue”. Host Alison Sweeney announced that from this point forward there would be just two teams – Bob’s Blue Team and Jillian’s Black Team. In addition, none of the players were guaranteed to stay with their current trainer unless they won the pop challenge. If they came in last place, they and their partner would be split up. The teams placing in the middle would be assigned a trainer based on the flip of a coin. The challenge required the contestants to lie in the mud and then jump up to hit a dangling disk. The first person to hit the disk 100 times would win. Only one person from each team could compete. The mud was thick, heavy and cold. Yuck! The battle for first place quickly came down to Tara and Sione – just as we all would have guessed. It was close to the very end but Tara (the Rock Star) won yet another challenge. Sione was 2nd, Mandi 3rd followed by Dane and Mike. Kristin managed to get to 100 for the 6th spot just ahead of Helen.
Tara & Laura chose to stay with their trainer, Jillian Michaels, and become members of the new Black Team. As the last place finisher, Helen had to leave Bob and join the Black Team too. The fate of Filipe & Sione was determined by the coin flip – and it came up Black. They were devastated at having to leave Bob. In an interview, Sione said putting on the black shirt almost felt like he was betraying someone he loved. Mandi & Aubrey also had to live by the coin flip. If it came up Blue, they would both go to Bob. If it came up Black, one would get to stay with Jill and one would have to go to Bob. It came up Blue. Mandi said she was glad Aubrey would still be on the same team with her but it was hard to have to leave Jillian. Dane’s coin flip forced him onto the Blue Team. Ron & Mike’s coin flip came up Black meaning they had to be split up. Alison let them decide who would stay with Bob and who would join Jillian’s team. Mike said he couldn’t decide. Ron said that the most important thing was Mike being able to stay on the ranch and he felt Mike had the best chance with the Black Team since it was now mainly composed of Bob’s former team who would be less likely to vote off Mike. By default, Kristin & Cathy got exactly what they hoped for – they stayed together and stayed with Bob. In the end, they all looked like one big, unhappy group.
Jillian was the first to meet her new team and she was stunned. She said of course this happened because everything was going too smoothly. She also said that, “Bob is gonna have a freak out.” Jill recognized that Sione was really struggling with it all and she made a point of saying she understood and was not taking any offense. Jillian felt the silver lining was that, ultimately, they’d get the best of both worlds and have two strategies to help them through the journey. After their first group workout, Mike was feeling very comfortable with Jill and open to her suggestions. Sione said that, while Jillian was “awesome”, he didn’t feel the same desire to push himself like he did with Bob.
Speaking of Bob, he was a mess about the change. At first he didn’t know what to say so he just took the group to workout. They arrived at the gym just as the Black Team was leaving. Filipe went straight over to Bob to share a hug as did Sione and Helen. Helen was bawling so Bob asked Jill if he could meet with his old team members for a minute. He had a difficult time figuring out what to say because he kept fighting back tears. You could tell that Bob knew his job was to try and make Helen, Mike, Filipe and Sione feel better about everything but he just couldn’t do it. He was too upset and disappointed himself. Finally, Bob just said that he had to go in the gym and be a trainer to his new team. Once inside, the Blue Team workout was half-hearted at best. Bob vented a bit to Kristin saying, “I’ve never been this upset on the show before, ever. I can’t stand it, I’m like …. I was out there talking to them … I was like … dying.” Kristin did get him to smile when she said, “Gotta admit, I do look good in blue, though.” As the day wore on he did get into gear and started pushing his new team.
Product Placement Alert One: Ziploc Fresh Shield storage bags. Jill met with her team to discuss the wonders of food storage.
Challenge
The main challenge for the week took place in the gym. Ali met the group by two bicycles set up under a giant clock. She announced that they were about to take part in the longest challenge in BL history. The goal was for each team to put as many miles as possible on their bikes in 24 hours. The team with the most miles would get a 3 pound advantage at the next weigh in plus every member of the team would win a custom made bike. Everyone commented on the bikes being tougher to pedal then they expected. The Black Team’s strategy was to trade off every half hour giving everyone a 2 1/2 hour rest between sessions. Blue had their people stay on for as long as they could.
At about the 15 hour mark we got:
Product Placement Alert Two: Jennie-O Turkey being used to make breakfast for the Blue Team while they discussed trying to get the Black Team to take a break from the bikes with them so that everyone could rest. Back at the gym, Mandi presented the idea of a truce. Sione said that he wouldn’t feel right not finishing. He’s lost weight and then quit before and he just didn’t want to chance restarting that cycle of quitting. Aubrey spoke up and said she agreed with Sione. She said they were there, ultimately, to finally finish what they’ve started. In the end they all took Sione’s words to heart and continued. I think it was particularly meaningful that it was Sione who wanted to push through because he was so deflated and defeated after he had to change trainers.
The Blue Team peddled for 264 miles. Black did 301.9 for the victory. Tara (who else) was the individual leader with 58.8 miles.
In Part Two: The former Brown Team (Ron & Mike) seem to be in trouble again and we are being set up for one of them to have a bad weigh in.

Ok, first off – how amazing was Hugh Jackman?! I loved him. He was charming and funny without a hint of snarkiness. Don’t get me wrong – I love Jon Stewart and I enjoyed his hosting, but Jackman just seemed like a perfect fit. All that training he got with the Tony Awards really paid off. I’ll declare right now that he should add another Emmy to his awards shelf for this performance:
Anne Hathaway was great too. Speaking of Anne, she gets my “Best Dressed” award for the night. Her dress had simple lines and a ton of sparkle.
The Salty Old Dog took particular notice of Viola Davis in her gold dress. I have to agree that it looked great on her.
I also thought the presenters were funnier than usual. I especially enjoyed Tina Fey and Steve Martin (”Don’t fall in love with me.”) and Ben Stiller’s take on Joaquin Phoenix.
I should add that Natalie Portman’s dress was especially beautiful too.
The most touching moment was the one we all expected – Heath Ledger’s mom, dad and sister accepting Heath’s Oscar on behalf of his daughter, Matilda. It was exactly what we all wanted it to be:
I also enjoyed the previous winners paying tribute to each of the nominees in the main acting categories. It gave everyone their special moment and I got a kick out of watching all their reactions to it.
As for the evening’s misses:
Overall the clothes looked great but one does have to wonder what Jessica Biel was thinking when she tried this dress on:
Bill Maher’s bid to be controversial in presenting the Best Documentary award seemed out of place in this telecast but the bigger problem was his jacket. Salty actually exclaimed, “Is he wearing pleather?”
Finally, the most irritating moment was James Franco messing up the name of the winner of the Best Live Action Short and Seth Rogan giggling about it. This one really ticked off Salty. Seriously, is it that hard to learn the names of the nominees? No, it isn’t. It made Franco and Rogan look childish and arrogant.
All in all, though, it was a great show and the ratings look to be up by about 13% over last year. If they bring Jackman back AND nominate movies that people have actually seen, the ratings in 2010 should be even better.

After finishing in first place after the first leg of the race, mother and son team Margie & Luke have established themselves as the early front runners – and the other teams have taken notice.
We opened at the Pit Stop in Stechelberg, Switzerland. Margie & Luke departed first at 2:56AM. They had to fly to Munich, Germany and drive themselves to the village of Ruhpolding and locate a cable car. They then had to ride the cable car to the top of the mountain to get the next clue. They reiterated their desire to use the race to correct the kinds of misconceptions about the deaf that surrounded Luke as he grew up.
The second team to leave was brother and sister lawyers, Tammy and Victor at 2:57AM. They immediately asked the driver if they could borrow his cell phone to call for plane reservations. They are trying to get over the big brother/baby sister dynamic of their relationship so that their partnership can work. Brothers and professional stunt men, Mark & Michael, left next at 2:59AM. They were feeling supremely confident – which is always bad news on the race. Father and son team, Mel & Mike (pictured above), left in 4th place and departed at 3:18AM. Mel injured his groin muscle during the cheesehill fiasco last episode and said he would just have to limp through the rest of the race. They also borrowed their cab driver’s cell phone.
Dating couple Amanda & Kris left in the 5th spot at 3:47AM. Amanda admitted to having a lot of anxiety about the race while Kris just seemed to be having a good time. Married couple Brad & Victoria (an early favorite of mine) left at 3:56AM. They also were shown borrowing a phone. Best friends Jaime & Cara left 7th at 3:59AM. They too thought to borrow a phone to get a jump on making reservations. Sisters Kisha & Jen followed at 4:02AM. Some cracks were already showing with this team because younger sister Jen remarked that Kisha always has to play the “big sister” role and it was starting to “piss” Jen off. They also got on the phone and discovered there were two flights to Munich; one on Swiss Air leaving at 7:10AM and one on Lufthansa leaving at 8:45AM.
Married couple Steve & Linda left at 4:04 in the 9th spot. During the first leg, Steve got irritated with Linda for not being able to run faster. He got weepy as he apologized for the way he had treated her. They also took time during the drive to make reservations.
As we watched team after team book the 7:10AM flight over the phone (including Amanda & Kris) Mark & Michael talked about how nice it was to just relax on the ride. Oh, oh.
Finally, the last place team, Best friends Christie & Jodi, left at 4:12AM. They too borrowed a phone but, by the time they called, the 7:10 flight only had one seat available. Meanwhile at the airport, the two teams that didn’t call ahead, Margie & Luke and Mark & Michael, got in line at the Swiss Air counter. Margie & Luke got the last set of seats. Only Mark & Michael and Christie & Jodi got stuck with the later flight.
Tammy & Victor maintained their lead during the race through the Munich airport to the cars. Kisha & Jen almost immediately got lost and started to fall behind.
When Tammy & Victor arrived at the cable car, they found a Roadblock.
Roadblock
A Roadblock is a task that only one member of the team can perform. This one required that person to paraglide off the mountain (attached to an instructor) to the ground 6000 feet below. The other team member would meet them in the landing area and they’d receive the next clue. They could only make the jump if the wind conditions were favorable. If they weren’t, the one paragliding could opt to wait out the wind or make a 60 minute hike down the mountain. Of course, the winds turned out to be too strong and Tammy was told she had to wait. She quickly decided to jog down the mountain and was on her way before the next group arrived.
The wind wasn’t dying down and, one by one, each of the paragliders chose to walk down the mountain except for Mel. He was struck waiting because his injury prevented him from making the long hike.
There were small markers lining the path down the mountain but, unfortunately, Linda missed one and headed off in the wrong direction. I really felt bad about it. I thought it had been a great sign that she was confident enough to try the jump in the first place and instead of being an affirming experience, it ended with her standing on the side of a strange road lost and crying.
The last three teams, Kisha & Jen, Christie & Jodi and Mark & Michael arrived at the paragliding Roadblock to find Mel still waiting. Mel tried his best to convince the others to wait out the wind but, eventually, they all opted to make the hike. Poor Mel was certain that he’d just lost the race for himself and his son. Mel, who is a clergyman, said that he couldn’t bring himself to ask God to change the wind for him because God had enough to do. Sure enough, though, the wind finally did change and Mel got the go ahead.
Tammy finally made it down the mountain, still in first place, and she and Victor followed the clue to Schonau Am Konigssee where they could find the next clue near the bobsled track. Margie was the second one down the hill followed by Kris and Victoria.
Mel loved his glide down the mountain and suddenly he and Mike were back in the race and were the 5th team to head to Schonau Am Konigssee.
At Konigssee, Tammy & Victor found a Detour
Detour
The choices were “Balancing Dolly” or “Austrian Folly”. In “Balancing Dolly” both team members had to ride a Segway through a two mile obstacle course. Host Phil Keoghan informed us that it would require balance and skill but could go very quickly. In “Austrian Folly” the teams had to go to a party tent and take turns throwing pies at a target in search of a pie with cherry filling. They didn’t find out until they got to the tent that the target was their teammate’s face. Tammy & Victor opted for the pies. Their good fortune continued and they quickly found the cherry filling. The next clue instructed them to find a mechanical woodcutter and get a small piece of wood. It would then be stamped with the final clue. The stamp told them the Pit Stop was at a place called Schloss Hellbrunn in Salzburg. It was a large and impressive estate. Phil informed us that the last team to check in there may be eliminated.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the mountain, Linda finally found someone to help her get back to the cable cars. By the time they drove her there, every other team had left.
Tammy & Victor breezed to the Pit Stop and were told by Phil that they’d each won a hybrid go-cart. They seemed thrilled but I was left wondering what someone does with a hybrid go-cart. Or any go-cart for that matter. They happily went to hug each other but then realized they were sticky, disgusting messes from the pies and decided better of it. Tammy commented that they make a good team because she’s had 26 years to get use to the idea that Victor will get the final word. Victor added that she wasn’t necessarily happy about it.
Amanda & Kris were the second team to make it to the Detour and decided to go for the pies. They also quickly found the cherry filling and were quite cute in doing so. This pair hasn’t had much screentime yet but they seem like a very nice couple. They noted that the pie was actually delicious and Amanda took a bit of it off of Kris’ shoulder.
Linda finally met up with Steve and was very thankful that he wasn’t mad at her for getting lost. He really did seem to have regretted his earlier behavior and was making a point of being very kind to her.
Mel & Mike decided to do the Segway course while Margie & Luke did the pies at Margie’s insistence. Luke said he knew it would take forever to find the right pie but, “What can I do? She’s my mom.” The preview made it look like Luke was being cranky about the pie throwing but he actually began it with a fairly good sense of humor. It wasn’t until it had gone on a while that he tried to convince Margie to switch to the Segways but she wanted to keep going. Brad & Victoria also arrived and opted for the pies.
Meanwhile, poor Kisha & Jen got lost again and Jen was quietly getting more and more resentful. I’m thinking she’s going to lose it at some point in the race.
Margie & Luke found the cherry filled pie and Brad & Victoria got lucky and quickly found theirs as well. Jaime & Cara arrived and started on the Segway course just as Kisha & Jen and Mark & Michael arrived at the Detour. They both picked the Segways. Christie & Jodi also made it and opted for the pies.
Mel & Mike checked in at the Pit Stop in 2nd place.
Amanda & Kris were 3rd.
Margie & Luke were 4th.
Brad & Victoria checked in 5th and some time must have gone by because it was significantly darker outside.
Jaime & Cara were 6th.
Christie & Jodi had just finished the pie throwing when Steve & Linda arrived at the Detour. It was starting to look a bit more hopeful for Steve & Linda as Christie & Jodi wondered around with no idea what or where the woodcutter was. They ended up getting to the right place just ahead of Steve & Linda. One of them remarked, “I’ve never felt like such a dumb blonde in my entire life.” They realized they needed to stop being so literal about the clues.
Kisha & Jen checked in 7th. Jen commented in an interview that she was already so worn down mentally that she couldn’t even hear Kisha talk without getting annoyed.
Mark & Michael were 8th.
Christie & Jodi were 9th. Phil remarked that it was the second time they cut it that close.
Steve & Linda were last and Phil informed them that they had been eliminated. They both started crying. They talked about how fortunate they were to have found someone who truly loved them and had their backs.
Next Week: The racers do gymnastics in Romania, Amanda & Kris lose their fanny pack with their money and passports and Tammy has a meltdown over Victor’s lack of respect for her opinions.

Like the rest of us, Lacey Schwimmer had some concerns when she found out she was going to be paired with “Jackass” Steve-O on this season’s “Dancing with the Stars”. As it turns out, he has ended up being what Lacey describes as a “workhorse”. When asked by People if she was surprised by him, Lacey said:
It’s funny because he’s been eleven months sober from drugs and alcohol and so I think his mind is now thinking, “I really have to now achieve this goal. I have to do this.” His head is really clear. I look up to him in that sense because as hard as he’s working on so many things, I feel like I should be working harder. I wasn’t expecting how nice of a guy he turned out to be and how much of a gentleman and how adorable he is. He’s so sweet and so cute and everyone who meets him just falls in love with him.
It will be interesting to see if Steve-O turns out to be the surprise of the season. You can check out the full interview with Lacey at the link below:

Socks, the First Cat during the Clinton Administration, has passed away at the age of 20. He started off life as a stray but ended up living in a governor’s mansion, the White House and finally enjoying home cooked meals courtesy of President Clinton’s former personal secretary, Betty Currie.
People.com has a very nice article up about Socks including the following statement from the Clintons:
“Socks brought much happiness to Chelsea and us over the years, and enjoyment to kids and cat lovers everywhere. We’re grateful for those memories, and we especially want to thank our good friend, Betty Currie, for taking such loving care of Socks for so many years.”
There had been some speculation that the Clinton’s had abandoned Socks when they moved from the White House but the article makes it clear that Currie had asked for Socks to live with her because she had become so attached to the cat.
The article, which is very sweet, can be found at the link below:
Now this gave me a good laugh. “Entertainment Tonight” posted ABC’s publicity pictures of the new “Dancing with the Stars” cast. Or, I should say, they posted pictures of 12 of the 13 celebrities. Who was missing? Why, “Access Hollywood’s” Nancy O’Dell of course.
For those of you who may have forgotten, several years ago “The Insider” (which is “ET’s” twin show) hired Pat O’Brien away from “Access Hollywood” and “Access” was furious about it. They did several segments bashing “ET/Insider” for their practice of paying for stories and both shows came down on opposite sides during the whole Anna Nicole mess. “ET” constantly interviewed Howard K. Stern while “Access” followed Larry Birkhead everywhere he went. It really was entertaining. Anyway, I would have thought that the feud would have ended when it was clear that both shows were better off without “POB” but I guess not. Check out the link below to see what “ET” posted:
By the way, I got the picture above of Nancy and her partner Tony Dovolani from “Extra’s” website.
In other “Dancing” news, if you are still wondering who Gilles Marini is, ET has an interview clip of Gilles and his partner Cheryl Burke. He’s cute and seems nice enough. The jury is still out on whether he is another Cristian de la Fuente.
